Frequently Asked Questions

We understand this can a bit confusing. If you have questions- we’ve got the answers.

Let's make it simple first...

Like THC and CBD, Delta 8 THC is a cannabinoid. But Delta 8 is produced by creating an isolate of Delta 9, known as THC. While both THC and Delta 8 THC are very similar, Delta 8 uses a man made process to be created. However, it’s far from being similar to CBD. THC and Delta 8 both have psychoactive properties while CBD does not.

CBD is the main compound found in Hemp which has very little psychoactive compounds in it.

No. Hemp and marijuana are different plants that have different effects on the body. Although they both come from the same plant species (Cannabis Sativa L), hemp contains very small amounts of THC if any, which is the compound in marijuana that gets you high.

Yes. Hemp is now a legal crop in 46 states, thanks to the signing of the 2018 Farm Bill. It is currently still banned in Idaho, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and South Dakota.

CBD (cannabidiol) is one of over 60 chemical compounds (or cannabinoids) found in the marijuana plant. It is usually the most abundant in Hemp and is certainly the compound that has gotten the most recognition for its therapeutic properties.

There are a number of ways to take CBD. The most popular method would be orally via oil drops that are placed under the tongue and held for 60 seconds before swallowing. There are also topical creams and ointments, along with smoking the flower itself or consuming edibles.

CBD oil is a liquid cannabis extract that can be derived through a number of different ways. The cleanest way is through Full Spectrum Cold Pressing.

CBD functions by binding to cannabinoid receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid system. By stimulating the endocannabinoid system, CBD promotes homeostasis, reduces pain, and decreases inflammation.

The main function of the Endocannabinoid System is to maintain homeostasis – biological harmony in response to changes in the environment.

A high-quality CBD product with minimal THC is incredibly unlikely to show up on a drug test. However, low quality CBD products may contain more traces of THC than they claim, in which case it is possible for it to be picked up on a screening.

Terpenes are essential oils found in plants that give cannabis its distinct aroma and flavor. Terpenes have many beneficial properties and work synergistically with CBD. This is known as the Entourage Effect.

Also known as “Pure CBD,” CBD isolate usually appears as a white crystalline powder. It is extracted through a process in which the CBD molecule is separated from the rest of the compounds it normally occurs with.

This is usually determined by the individual. Several factors determine dosage based on age, weight, and tolerance. It’s usually advisable to start with one dropper full and then work your way up.

Phytocannabinoids are a class of plant-based, naturally-occurring chemical compounds that influence a system in our body called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS).

Crude oil has a naturally dark molasses color and a slightly stronger sweeter scent. Full Spectrum Crude CBD oil can be mixed with any oil-based product.

Full spectrum means that an oil or product contains all the cannabinoids that are found in the cannabis plant in nature, rather than just CBD (Cannabidiol). Products that are isolate derived will only contain the isolated CBD molecule.

Yes. CBD can help pets with a variety of ailments that humans do, including pain, seizures, inflammation, and anxiety. CBD is safe for pets, although its dosage will be significantly lower than yours. Cannabinoid receptors are more concentrated in the brains of dogs. This indicates that they are extremely susceptible to THC. Animals, on the other hand, benefit from a modest quantity of THC, such as that found in full-spectrum CBD hemp oil. Before you start providing your pet CBD, we recommend speaking with a holistic veterinarian.

CBD hemp oil comes from hemp plants, whereas CBD cannabis oil comes from marijuana plants. THC will be minimal to non-existent in CBD hemp oil. CBD Cannabis Oil has a higher THC content than CBD Hemp Oil. THC and CBD can be found in equal amounts in CBD Cannabis Oil.

Yes. CBD is broken down by a group of enzymes known as the CYP450. Many regularly used medications are metabolized by these enzymes. CBD has the ability to suppress the activity of CYP450 enzymes. While high doses of CBD and CBD isolates are more likely to cause drug interactions, caution should be exercised when using CBD alongside life-saving medications for serious conditions (i.e. epilepsy medications).

No, is the quick response. CBD is non-lethal even at large doses.

Taking too much CBD, on the other hand, may raise the chance of negative effects. You might feel dizzy or lightheaded, which could put you at danger of an accident.

Raw hemp flower is the most natural form of CBD, and it is from this that all other CBD products are manufactured. CBD flowers can be used in their natural form in the same manner that marijuana flowers have been used for decades.

Hemp flowers can be smoked, used to make DIY tinctures and edibles, or added to a dry herb vape.

There are hundreds of hemp flower strains to choose from. Each strain has its own cannabinoid and terpene profile, giving it a distinct scent, flavor, and impact.

It’s exciting to experiment with different CBD hemp flower strains.

Organically cultivated hemp that has been properly dried and cured yields the greatest CBD hemp flower. Hemp blossoms should not be too dry or crispy, and their perfume should be pleasant and fresh.

You can also purchase delta 8 THC flower, which is made out of a hemp flower that has been dipped in delta 8 THC distillate.
